The number of Filipino families who consider themselves poor decreased to 10.3 million households in the second quarter of 2012, based on the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).During the May 24 to 27 survey period, SWS found that 51 percent or about 10.3 million families rated themselves as poor, down from 55 percent or 11.1 million households in March.
The nationwide survey, first published on BusinessWorld, used face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents. Full story here.
